2021 Virtual Sponsor & Resource Hub

In February of 2020, bp set out our ambition to become a net zero company by 2050 or sooner and help the world get to net zero. To deliver that ambition, we launched our new strategy that will reshape our business within a decade as we pivot from an international oil company focused on producing resources to an integrated energy company focused on delivering solutions for customers.

We aim to be a very different kind of energy company by 2030 as we scale up investment in low-carbon, focus our oil and gas production and make headway on reducing emissions. Our new strategy kickstarts a decade of delivery towards our #bpNetZero ambition.

According to Bernard Looney, bp CEO, "We believe our new strategy provides a comprehensive and coherent approach to turn our net zero ambition into action. This coming decade is critical for the world in the fight against climate change, and to drive the necessary change in global energy systems will require action from everyone."

Rooted in the Pacific Northwest culture of innovation and creativity, GLY is one of the most respected locally-owned general contractors, celebrating 50 years in 2017. Clients from around the region and across the nation work with GLY to deliver outstanding high tech corporate office projects, mixed-use developments, and facilities that support healthcare, life sciences, education, and senior living.

By adapting thoughtfully and purposefully, building on a strong foundation of smart technology, integrated delivery, LEAN practices and responsible sustainability, GLY's hallmark collaborative building teams have a diverse skill set. Architecture, engineering and design, construction management and strong technical field craft are among the many disciplines represented.

GLY is committed to offering every employee the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve their full potential. The firm believes in promoting healthy lifestyles, and actively supports a number of efforts to make neighborhoods safe, vibrant places to live, work, play and learn. GLY is a Salmon-Safe accredited General Contractor, actively supporting Salmon-Safe's mission to transform land management and development practices so that Pacific salmon can thrive in West Coast watersheds.

Ideally sized to nurture growth, GLY is large enough to build complex, challenging projects, yet small enough to recognize individual accomplishment and encourage dreams and ambition. As a regional general contractor, it's important that GLY be prepared to respond to fluctuations. Our Interiors | Special Projects team [ISP] plays a big role in our long-term strategy, which centers on maintaining diversity in both our portfolio and in a skilled team of experienced veterans and new talent. Together we meet the need for focused and/or specialized requirements, such as making a building more energy efficient; reimagining outdated spaces into modern workplaces; or refreshing common interiors. ISP also leverages the company's aggregate experience working on large-scale highly technical projects-such as healthcare and technology campuses, and sensitive environments like occupied senior living and educational facilities-and offers the same degree of operational quality, value, safety, and efficiency.
